Heidi, 2/07/2007 - 06/18/2021

Heidi was a feral cat who made her way into our hearts by us watching her chase snowflakes. With much guidance from our awesome vet she became an inside member of our family. She only came out of hiding when no one was in the house except us. She got along good with our other cats and dogs over the years. The last 5 years of her life she was the only cat child and spent a lot more time with us and sleeping on the bed. We miss you Heidi but know you are enjoying being outside again!

Hoser Thomas, March 19, 2015 - August 17, 2021 cam

The skies earned a beautiful star tonight by the name of Hoser. He was the faithful and inseparable companion of his dad Joe and will be sorely missed. Always by his dad's side, he was the rock through many traumatic events over the past couple of years, and Hoser's calming and loyal presence was a godsend during these trying times.

Hoser loved to go on adventures, whether is was the nightly walk-about; taking a ride in the truck or car; carrying the newspaper up the driveway; or even just to roam out front where he did the 'big stretch', and the pine branch scrub under his favorite tree. He hated to be away from his dad and would whine loudly if he was left behind at home. He ruled the roost and often herded all of his furry siblings into their spots where he could keep a loving eye on them.  Although he disliked being touched, he more than made up for that with welcome home kisses, great big toothy smiles, and even the occasional hug for his dad.

Although often known as cranky and grumbly, he had a gentle nature and was fiercely loyal to those in his pack. We will miss his snoring, his carpet donut circles, his methodical nightly climb up the stairs, his coyote barks, and his incessant joy upon receiving a new stuffie. Hoser will be greatly missed by his cat sisters and by his new dog sister whom he provided great lessons on how to successfully mooch during meals, and how to expertly patrol the property on coyote watch.

We will miss this big, fuzzy boy so much. Now at peace and enjoying the bottomless cookie bowl beside God's chair.

Forever loved by Kim, Daisie, Amy and Winter, but forever adored by Baby, Rascal, and Joe. Godspeed sweet man.

Hubert, 03/07/2020 cam

I am lost for words. Hubert was my soulmate and my only constant love for 9 years. He was never mad or upset with me. He picked me when he was only 8 weeks old and never left my side in our 9 years together. He loved his stuffed animals and digging holes, playing with his brother and most of all going to bed and sleeping on my pillow. He went with me everywhere and now I am lost without him. Our souls will always be connected! I will never forget the way he looked into my eyes with pure love ❤️

Hunter Beans Nunning, 08/25/2013 - 10/30/2021 cam

To my sweet sweet baby, Hunter.

Your mommy loved you so much! You were a light in this world and you will always be my little angel. I am so lucky God chose me to be your mommy. You always made me smile and you were so kind and loving. It amazes me how many people's lives you touched. I am forever grateful that I got to be your person. Everyday spent with you was a wonderful day. I will always cherish the memories I have of my little Hunter Beans. Thank you for getting me through some very tough times in my life. You helped me more than you could ever know. You were (and still are) so special. Since you left this earth, there is an empty hole in my heart that no one will ever be able to fill. You were truly one of a kind. You had the most amazing personality and we just understood each other so perfectly. You're my best friend beanie baby! Thank you for loving me unconditionally and always being excited to see me. I love you with all of my heart and you will forever be missed. Thank you for everything you did for me! I will miss rubbing those velvet ears of yours and the way you would always look at me. You had such kind and loving eyes and you always made me feel so loved. There will never be another Hunter Beans. Fly high my sweet baby. I know you will be watching over mommy and daddy. Have fun up there with Grandpa, I know you were so happy when you got to finally meet him. He will take care of you until we meet again.

I love you with all of my heart my little angel!

Love your mommy,
Hadley

Hygge Cooper Jenkins, 10th May 2012 - 9th September 2021 cam

Hygge Cooper was and is a special boy from Texas. He spent some of his early years under appreciated in Bandera County, Texas. Thanks to the groups and kind people at "Saving Shelter Strays" and One Tail at Time Portland, I was lucky enough to welcome Hygge into my family in 2017. Despite his history Hygge Cooper (then just Cooper) was kind, chatty, goofy and so beloved by many. He changed my life and did so much good in his time on this earth. Swim and run free Hygge. We'll save you some peanut butter. Love you forever xox
