Remington Beaux Johnson, 12/19/2007 - 6/7/17 Small Cam

Remy, it's been a week since you went to the Rainbow Bridge.  You've been on my heart and mind every day since then.  I didn't realize how much a part of my daily routine you were.  Every time I get the treat bag out, I catch myself waiting for you to run in and circle my feet.  You had such a sweet and special nature.  Always loved getting your fur brushed or your head rubbed.  I fell in love with you the moment I saw you poke that precious head out from under the house.  You were taken from me far too soon.  But you left an indelible mark on this house and on my heart.  My only comfort is knowing that you aren't in any pain.  Lucky misses you as much as I do.  I'm glad that you were able to grow up with your sisters, and your "brother from another mother".  My beautiful Remy - I miss you so much :(  Until we meet again, I love you RemBeaux <3.

Renegade, 10/20/1997 - 12/10/2017 Small Cam

Renegade was truly an exceptional cat. Also known as "Renny" or "the Old Man," he happily lived his two-decade-life inside of Nashville Pet Products in Nashville, TN. He was the oldest of 5 store cats, he loved Goat's Milk and head scratches, and would even allow the other cats to snuggle with him in his bed.

Forever long-suffering and patient, "Renny" would be on hand to greet visiting dogs and other pets; but he was always ready with a stern rap of the paw if any dogs stuck their noses in a little too close!

While he would sometimes show his might, "Renny" was definitely the strong, silent type. His most common form of communication with the humans in his life was a long, deep stare. He would stare until you acknowledged him, he'd stare as you asked him what he wanted... then a single, soft meow would let you know he'd heard what he wanted.

Renegade is survived by his fellow store-cats Lily, Marley, Moon and Soleil; and by the dedicated staff of Nashville Pet Products.

Ricky "Richard", August 2008 - April 27, 2017 Small Cam

I love you Ricky with all of my heart. I hope you are running in heaven with the rest of the dogs.  You are everything to me and I lost you, but memories can't be taken, and I will never lose the memories that I had with you. RIP I love you so much.~ Evan
Always know how much I loved you! I miss you so much! Until we meet again.~Amy
I love you so much Ricky, you left us all too early. Evan, momma, and I miss you so much. It's quieter now which is not normal for this house. Your fellow siblings miss you as well, esp. lucy! I hope you're getting all the socks and love you deserve up there buddy. See you on the flipside! with love and belly rubs-Maria

Rockford James (Rocky), 2003 - 11/30/17 Small Cam

To our Dearest Loving & Beloved Rocky...Thank you for giving us the greatest life ride for over 14 yrs. The world was yours to explore w/us & you mastered that well!  We quickly learned you had your own agenda & that it was OUR choice to conform to it - oblivious to whatever didn't matter to you. You never complained, you taught us patience, trust, unconditional luv, devotion to name a few.  You didn't have a mean bone in your body-just playful fun (especially when it came to dad's arm & walking him to your pantry where there were endless treats).  After we adopted you from an Iowa Rescue Agency in 2003 we drove you 5 hrs. home to NE (sharing a scent of nervousness w/us the entire way).  In 2011 when we moved to WY you chased herds of Bison & dug freely on the open range before moving back to NE in 2014.  We lived with the "kid" until dad retired & you found the perfect house for us to buy.  We remodeled it entirely so you would experience only comfort & ease.  The backyard was full of flowers, trees, grasses, deer, coyote, cats, fox, birds, squirrels, and a few other nuisance animals like wild turkeys.  It was truly a peaceful & tranquil "Garden of Rocky" for you to oversee & feel the warm sun on your soul (as I always said).  The special barks you shared with certain wildlife informed them this was YOUR property & as long as they behaved, they could enjoy it with you.  We find comfort in seeing "Frankie the fox" dine on the extra milk bones you had to leave behind.  You loved your walks & I continue to take them tucking your leash into my pocket so I can hear the tinkle of your tags.  You had a strong heart & lungs right up to the end.  We feel so blessed we were able to be by your side when we helped you over the finish line from this world into the next as you drew your last breath. I know you are smiling (as always) & continuing to watch over us. I know you are at peace & home with the Lord - no more achy joints.  Run free now Rocky with Charleton James who went before you in 2003.  The "kid" said it best… "The Earth Lost A Friend but the Universe Gained a Star".  Our sadness in missing you suddenly turns into a smile because you LIVED. Until you greet us in Heaven one day, we continue to trust, have faith & believe.....VERRT!

Rocky, 4-4-2004 - 11-7-17 Small Cam

Our dearest Rocky,  although it’s been almost 2 weeks since we had to say goodbye, it feels like it was yesterday. We can’t get over how different this house is without you in it. I keep thinking I hear the jingle of your collar or the way you flopped your body down because your arthritis in your back legs was getting so bad.    You were a part of our family  for almost 14 years, and it’s hard to believe you’re no longer here.   But the best part is knowing that your legs no longer hurt.  Until we meet again, big guy, we love you with all our hearts.

RORY, 2014 - 09/07/2017 Small Cam

Oh, my baby Rory...how could I know that you had just enough Maine Coon in you to affect your heart?  I am so sorry that we had to wait in the emergency room for the vet to finish delivering those puppies before we could end your pain.  For days after I could hear your cries in my head...oh my baby...I am so sorry for your pain but so glad I was there with you...holding you and stroking you.
We will miss you our precious one.  You completely captivated all who came to our home...you were the true Castle Cat and I remember how guests would ask "Can we have Rory in our room to visit?"  Everyone was smitten with you Rory. You were a kind and gentle soul and you deserved everything good.  My darling, it is one of those poignant and noble truths of life. To be a living creature on this beloved earth...we each bear our own struggles.  When you came to me from off of the street...you were skinny and scabby but we all saw the light in your eyes.  Overnight you shed your disguise and showed your true form...A GREAT PRINCELY FELINE of the highest standing.  You blossomed with the love that we showered on you and you in turn showered us with blessings...soft pats of the paw...fluffy furry pantaloons that made us giggle with pleasure when you bounded through the room, wonderful comforting times of stroking your soft fur as I woke each morning with you on my tummy... they are sacred now.
You, resplendent in your fine furs still showed so much humble gentleness and sincere affection...I can only strive to be as kind and wise as you my love.
Most of all, I thank God for showing me just what he is capable of...creating such a beautiful soul as you who loved me with all of your being.
You will always be with us Rory...I earnestly expect with all of heart to be reunited with you someday...to be reunited with true love.
For now...farewell to the one who embodied all of our whimsical nick names..."Professor Cumulus, "Chamber Bunny", "Mini Lynx", "Kinton" "King Rorschach the First", "CLOUD", "Fuzzard" and other names.

Your true name:  Sir Rory McGorty Longfellow
We love you Forever.
Mommy and everyone
