Unknown Kitty, April 6th 2015
I did not know you except for a few minutes. You tried to raised
your head. You had just been hit by a car. Nobody stopped. I could
not let anything else cause you more pain. I pulled over and
walked over to you. I picked you up and held you ever so gently.
Your eyes were so beautiful so green. Just a beautiful cat. You
gave out one last breath. I just held you for a little longer. I
drove you back to my home. I had to give you the dignity you
deserved. I went to my wife's flower garden, my eyes tearing over
and dug out a place. I gently wrapped you and placed you in the
ground. Your fur was so soft. As I covered you over I was hoping
and praying that you were in a better place and maybe from my
heart you felt that last bit of love and affection even it was
only for a moment.
