Nellie, 10/18/2003 - 11/29/2014 Small Cam

It was with much pain and sorrow that we had to say goodbye to Nellie (our beloved and precious English Golden Retriever) at the University or Florida Small Animal Hospital ER in Gainesville today.

She was incredibly loving, sweet, and a loyal friend. We miss her so very much, but were truly blessed to have her in our lives for such a long time.

Nelly (Nellika), December 25, 1997 - May 31, 2014 Small Cam

Nelly our shepherd mix family member passed away on May, 31, 2014. We all miss her and her cat sister Vicka misses her so very much. I found Nelly roaming the streets when she was only 2 months old. Nellika (fond for "Nelly") had very strong maternal instincts. Although she never had puppies, she always showed affection towards newly born kittens that I fostered. Nelly had a VERY strong Alpha female personality but she had a very gentle soul and a big, compassionate heart. There're not enough words to describe her..and not enough words to describe our pain and loneliness without her. Nellika left such a big void after she departed this earthly life. We did not realize how much Nelly/Nellika  filled our home and our hearts with her internal light of unconditional love. Nellika is sorely missed and we  know that we will see her in Heaven. RIP, our loyal and loving soul.

Dear Bob and Cecile :  Nelly was such a sweet soul who was always so happy to greet us when we visited.  We will forever miss her wagging tail and soulful eyes!!

Nilla Jane, December 17, 2014 Small Cam

This morning we had to say goodbye to you, Nila Jane, we miss you already.
You came to us when you were only 3 weeks old, you and your brother, Tigger, were the only two kittens to survive from your litter.  You were so tiny and so pretty!  We loved you at first sight.  It seemed to take so long for you to be weaned so we could bring you home with us.
The day Larry's brother, David, called us that you were ready to come home with us we were so excited that we got into the car and came to get you right away.
You were so small you fit into the palm of my hand.  I carried you in one hand and Tigger in the other as Larry drove us back home.
You two spent the night in a box by the wood stove the first night but by the second night you both managed to climb the stairs and then climb the covers to sleep between Larry and I and that became your nightly spot.
Over the years we fell even more in love with you and Tigger.  You both wanted to be with us no matter what we were doing, you wanted to help.
Tigger had to leave us November 10, 2009 and it was so painful we thought that we would never heal but you helped us through.  You had that little patch of Tigger fur on your cheek so we felt we would always have him with us as long as we had you.
Today we felt we were loosing Tigger again when you left us.  Our hearts are breaking but we would not have missed the experience of loving you both for anything.  The pain will ease with time but the loving memories will remain.
Rest in Peace precious Nilla Jane and say hi to Tigger when you get across the Rainbow Bridge!
Love
Daddy and Mommy

NUGGET, 28/ 02/ 2002 - 04/ 11/ 2010 Small Cam

My dear beautiful golden boy, it is 4 years ago today that I had to make that most awful decision to let you go. When I left you at the vet, little did I know that I would never again be able to give you cuddles as you snuggled into my legs. You were always such a sweetheart, very kind, very patient, very stubborn and always much loved and admired by all who met you. Barley suffered so much after you passed. He was at a total loss without his big brother to look after him and to play with him. No other dogs have ever been able to equal you and even now only one dog can get him to play briefly, but she is not you and the games aren't the same. My two golden boys walked so proudly together and never had a cross word between you. People I didn't know, stopped me to ask where you were, even a year after I lost you. You were in my life for only 8 short years, you didn't deserve to go so soon. I shall never forget you, you are with me every day in my heart and thoughts. I know you are with all my other wonderful pets, Winston, Minstrel, Charlie, Sweepie, Caine, Muffin, Loppee, Silva, Chivers and Seville. This year as well Mummy passed and she loved you as much as I do. Until we are together again, 'Nuggety' all my love poppet.
