Daisy, 09/19/06

Sweet Daisy, mommy nursed you thru so many kitten problems, my special innocent, you left me too soon.

Cathy B

Dakota aka Dopey Dog aka Dopetta Louise aka Pretty Girl, 10/25/96-12/27/05

Today we said "good-bye" to our pretty girl Dakota. You were only 9 and far too young to leave us. You still acted like a puppy in your expressions and your playfulness, but unfortunately your legs would not cooperate. We tried so hard to find out what was wrong with you and we put you through so much in the process. We weren't ready to let you go.

Everywhere we look there are reminders of you. Your favorite places to lay, your toys, your leash, even your dish. We just can't seem to put any of it away yet. We will forever miss the traits that made you so special to us. You were so smart Dopey dog. You told us when it was time for dinner, you knew when it was time for your medication, and you knew when it was your 8:00 cookie time. If we made you wait too long, you could be quite sassy and talk back. We will forever miss the way you cocked your head to the side with your perky ears up, as if you were taking in and understanding everything we would say to you. We miss your brown eyes, and petting and scratching you in all your favorite places. And of course, we will miss your kisses. We miss you so much Dakota. Our hearts ache for you.

Dakota, you had your mama's loving arms around you when you took your last breath and headed for the Rainbow Bridge. Please look for us. We will be there when it is our time. Together again forever. Until then, please be happy. Play and jump and run around like you used to.

Love you Love you

Your Mamas

Dale, 04/13/06

Dale,

Mommy loves you so much.
You were absolutely the best dog anyone could have.
I'm sorry you had to suffer at the end, but I did my best to make your last 2 days comfy.
I know you knew when it was your last time in the yard; I could tell by the way you just stood there and looked around.
It was like you were thinking "yep, life's been good, but it's time to leave this yard and move on."
You were my baby for over 11 years, and I'll never forget all the times we had.
You were such a good mama's boy.
Thank you for being such a good dog, and being such a wonderful companion for me.
I'll miss you buddy.

Love,
Mommy

Dallas, 08/26/06-09/21/06

My beloved dilly dallas. Thank you for your adoring love and loyalty these last 10 years. You are now playing with Nikko and Sammy hopefully swimming in some body of water. Harley,Etta,Jules and Moe Moe miss you terribly as do I. I am so glad that I made the DVD when Nikko passed on as all of you were wonderfully captured in that delightful memoire. Dallas sweetie, it was my love for you that I sent you to sleep. You seemed so sick and no one could figure it out. I agreed to an autopsy so that perhaps in you, they can find life for others. As long as I have my memory, you will be at the forefront. kisses and hugs

Claudia Henry

Dalton, 08/25/04

You were the first living creature to depend on me 100%.
You were my best friend, and I miss you so much each and every day.
Take care of all your friends at the Rainbow Bridge.
I'll see you again one day.

Sandy

Dixie (Dixie Doodle), 09/04/98

You were an angel while teaching my daughter the respect for and responsibility of loving an animal.
She learned so much from you with your patience and guidance.
Then it was my turn.
When your cancer was found and we together went through the shots - the surgeries - the depression and weightloss - the then finally some sense of healing.
Then the final blow of the cancer in your throat - inoperable - take her home and enjoy her while you can.
And I did.
Eleven years seemed too soon too early for a lovely creature like you to leave us. And we enjoyed you to the fullest - for two years we were blessed with your presence and love and funny antics.
I never had to make the decision - as the lump started growing god took over and took you home to be with him.
Lightening - quick - fast - painless for you.
You took a piece of my heart never to be replaced - as I am sure every best friend does.
You were a very special lady and we all miss you very much.
I hope you are running free with the wind in your mane and no pain to slow your stride.
With all my love to my Dixie - Mom and the girls

Dizzy, 09/15/06

Dizzy was a sleepy, gentle faced piggie, but when she stood up with her paws on her igloo and 'meeped' for food it was so funny.
I only had to say to her "What time is it Dizzy" and she would meep loudly.
She became ill suddenly and we lost her within 3 days.
I loved her so much and will never forget her.

Bev

Dozer, 09/06/06

Duffy, 02/28/06

Duff, our "love bucket extraordinaire", we miss you terribly and hope you know how special you were to us and how much you were loved. We hope that it was your choice to go this way and that I didn't let you down- if it was not your time please, please forgive me-we tried so hard to find you. You had been through so much we can only hope that you are at peace.
We'll always miss you.
